Thailand Orphanage Trip 2005
The
Burmese Inn in Sangklaburi, Thailand. Though I
didn't stay here, it really had a paradise-ish feeling.
Everything was nice and made of stone. The grass was green. It was just nice. I
want to stay there sometime.
During high seasons water floods the lower levels of lake front houses.
We took a long boat for about 30 minutes. First to see the sunken village, then to...
Ride elephants.
Wow. A foot long piece of actual sugar cane. Mmmm it's so good.
You'd better not eat the whole thing or it will really upset your stomach
tomorrow. It's pure sugar.
uh-oh....I already ate it.
Then we rode bamboo rafts down a river for another 30 minutes.
A famous wooden bridge in Sangklaburi Thailand. A better shot
is when
monks wearing their orange robes walk across it in the morning mist.
