Thailand Orphanage Trip 2005
A long long time ago the original village of Sangklaburi, including several temples made of both wood and stone sat in a low valley near where they current town of Sangklaburi is. Then it was decided that a dam needed to be built in the area to regulate water going to Bangkok. This caused the village to flood under 30+ meters of water. Anything made of wood is long gone. The only things that remain are the stone structures. |
