Danchedisamong, the Three Pagodas Pass in Sangkhlaburi Thailand

This is the area where the Japanese tried to cross into Burma, or maybe they actually did.
They were building a railway from Singapore (a port) to India so they could invade and occupy
India. I should brush up on history, but I think they also attacked Peal Harbor around the same time
causing the US to attack them. They pulled out their forces from Thailand only to be defeated by the US.

There are many wood working shops around the Three Pagodas Pass and the quality is great.

There are great views of the mountains in the background.
Behind the three pagodas is the border into Myanmar.
