home daily journal comments the school the kids original site

As the sports teams arrive back at school around 5-7, they enter the teacher's room and line up
in order from right, most senior, to left, youngest beginning members.

They bow and YELL "thank you very much, thank you very much".

They go down the line, starting at the right, saying a few words about how hard they fought
and either won or lost. Here the 6th girl from the right is talking. Today they won since you
can see smiles and people looking up. When they lose it is required they all cry and whimper
and sob and keep their head lowered while they apologize for letting the school down.

Then they bow and YELL "thank you very much, thank you very much" again.

Then the highest ranking person, here the JHS VP, gives a pep talk or congratulates them for winning
(and not letting us down). It's always the same speech so much so that I could memorize it.

Then they bow and YELL "thank you very much, thank you very much" again.

All the teachers stand up, regardless of what we were doing, when they come in and leave.
