I was able to get free breakfast included in our deal, so everyone had breakfast both mornings. On Saturday, most everyone went out to see the main snow sculptures. I'll put one picture below and then a link to the page with the main snow sculptures on it.

This was by far my favorite, I wish it was bigger, but it was still pretty cool. It's a scaled down version of the Nagoya Castle. The big BOOYA one was a let down. It was an advertisement for Taiwan. You can see in the Main Snow Sculpture section. Last year the BOOYA one was much cooler, see for yourself.

That  night I had dinner with a member of the group. We wanted famous Hokkaido Crab Legs, so we went here:

But they didn't have all you can eat crab legs like we had hoped. We had some overpriced meal that was good, but not worth what we paid. I just wanted endless crab legs and I was willing to pay for it, but they didn't have it apparently. Argh.

The next morning we packed up and checked out and many of us headed to Sapporo Station to do some shopping and just kill time until our 3:15 train. Click that link for pictures of Sapporo Station. Or this one if you are too lazy to go back to it.

Here is a map I found of Hokkaido and Sapporo.

Just above Hokkaido is Russia and to the left is North Korea and China. Most of the time it was about -10 Celsius, which by using the cheating way of converting is roughly 12 F. The correct way to convert is to divide the multiple of PI and an unknown number by the square root of my dog and 7. The cheating way is to double the number and add 32. So -10 x 2 = -20 + 32 = 12 F. It works within a few degrees. If you go to an online professional %100 accurate to the nanodegree website, you will find the actual conversion is 14 F, but 12 is close enough.

Finally we board the ferry and have an uneventful ride back. Though it was swaying a bit more than we liked. The reason is it is mainly a transport ferry and doesn't have stabilizers. Michelle said cruise ships are much less sea-sick causing. Here is more info and pictures about the ferry.

So here is a list of all the pages so far:
