When I first moved here there was/is a building that was still under construction. On the top were two huge cranes used to lift things up and lower things. I guess you could have figured out what cranes on top of buildings do.

The cranes were so big I frequently wondered how the first crane made it up there. The building is a good 20+ stories I think so any crane that lifted it would have to be massive. An a helicopter could do it I guess but that would take several trips up.

So now I am fixated with how the first crane gets up there. Crane A recently lowered Crane B so I think we are approaching the final days of Crane A. I will post updates to this page any time a change is made.

Exhibit A. Crane A on the left, Crane B on the right.

Exhibit B, Crane A still on the left, but Crane B has been disassembled and is no longer present. It wasn't really this dark when I took the pic, my dumb camera made it this dark. It was quite light but dusk slightly.

Oh the let down. They brought in a super long crane to remove Crane A. It wasn't as big as I thought, it just had a long arm. But wait there's more....

They are building a new high rise near my place, although it won't be when I move. But anyway there will be a big crane on top of it I bet.
