Aizu Wakamatsu Tsurugajo Castle



Tsurugajo Castle is a Y1,000 taxi ride from the station. To enter the castle cost about Y500, but it's worth it since the castle is very "Japanese" and is only one of a few in the Tohoku region. It was built 1384 and then burned and rebuilt several times. What you see today is from the renovation in the 1950's.
