is an online journal of a Fukushima JET, an ALT (Assistant Language Teacher or Automatic Language Tape-player). The JET Programme is (hypothetically) a programme where native English speakers teach English in Japanese schools from Elementary to high school. This journal follows my day to day adventures. I am completely honest and write what I think. Sometimes it's bitter and angry, other times it's humorous. If you don't like my opinions, luckily there are millions of other websites in the world.

As my third year of the Fukushima JET Programme has come and gone, I am now starting a new and improved job in a nearby town. Chopsticks-The Sequel follows my time as a Native Teacher in Koriyama, Fukushima. This part of the site goes from 2002-2005. The Sequel part is from August 2005 to the present.
